Do you not see the correct information in your My CM account, but you do see that of another family member, for example your partner or parent? Then you have probably linked the wrong national register number to your My CM account. You can check this by following the following steps in your My CM account.

Check in My CM-web

  • Click on 'My CM' at the top right, then 'My Portal' and go to 'My profile'.
  • In the 'customer data' block you will find the number with which you linked the account under 'national register number'.

Check in My CM app

  • Click on 'Check your profile'.
  • Under 'CM details' you will find the number with which you linked the account under 'national register number'.

If you have linked the wrong national register number, you must delete your My CM account . Only then can you re-register the email address and link it to the correct eID.

Yes, you should not create this again. Log in immediately with the same email address and password. Also choose to set a PIN code, facial recognition or fingerprint immediately so that you can log in faster next time.

There may be several reasons why registration fails.

  • The password does not meet the criteria.
    Your password is valid as soon as the bar below the password field turns green. The tool used to secure the password imposes a number of additional restrictions. For example, it should not be a common password or numbers in the password should not be a simple sequence (such as 1234). Follow the feedback that appears to set a good password.

  • The email address you use for registration has already been registered once.
    You can only register once with the same email address. In that case you will receive the error message: 'Something went wrong with your registration. You may already have an account with this email address. Choose to log in and request a new password if necessary or try again later.'

  • Other problems
    For other problems surrounding fields that you have to fill in, you will always receive a specific error message, for example:
    • 'Please enter a valid email address';
    • 'The passwords entered do not match';
    • 'Not all fields are completed'.

Your details will be automatically filled in throughout the CM site. For example, requesting yellow stickers is easier.

Moreover, you can also:

  • consult refunds;
  • consult sickness benefits;
  • manage disability agreements;
  • view an overview of your contributions;

You can access your personal and confidential information in My CM in two ways.

With a My CM account

  • You create a My CM account with a unique email address and password of your choice. You then link the account to your electronic identity card once.
  • Afterwards you can log in with your email address and password, both on My CM web and in the My CM app.

Without a My CM account

  • By registering via the external government platform CSAM (with an eID reader, Itsme app, etc.). So you do not need an email address and password for this.
  • This is only possible on My CM-web . To use the My CM app, you always need an account.

You can request a new password via the 'forgotten password' button. If you do not receive an email (not even in your spam), then you probably do not have a My CM account with that email address yet. Please note, the link in the email is valid for a limited time. So take care of the password change immediately.

If you have logged in in the past, it may have been without a My CM account (i.e. without a password, but with eID or Itsme). More information can be found at ' How do I consult my personal data in My CM? '.

Via the 'forgotten email address' button you can use your national register number to request the email address with which you created your My CM account. The condition is that it is a secure account, in other words you must have linked it to your electronic identity card. Only then will you receive an email in which you can click through to the CM website to register.

If you enter an incorrect PIN code five times, you can log in with your email address and password. You can then delete and reset your PIN using the steps below.

  • 'More' button at the bottom right
  • Login options
  • Pin
    • Remove PIN code
    • Set a new PIN code

To log in with an email address and password, you must first register. This means that you create a secure My CM account. Read how to create a secure My CM account .

Only when you have a secure My CM account can you log in with your email address and password. As long as this is not the case, you will receive the message 'invalid email address or password'.

Is your email address changing? Read how to change your email address in My CM .

Facial recognition is currently only available for Apple devices. Google does not yet allow this for Android devices.

You can set up a fingerprint on both Apple and Android devices as long as your device has this option.

For privacy reasons, you can only view information about yourself and your minor dependent(s).

If a child is registered with your partner, you can consult that information via your partner's account. Even in the case of co-parenting, only the parent with whom the child is registered as a dependent can consult the information.

No, this is not possible. You cannot link two different eIDs to the same My CM account. A separate email address is required per account.

You can only view the data of yourself and the minor person(s). Other family members must create their own My CM account with a unique email address.
