Weight loss surgery
Under certain conditions you will receive a refund for weight loss procedures such as a stomach ring.
Statutory health insurance reimburses interventions that:
- reduce stomach volume;
- reduce the size of the stomach and divert the intestines;
The operation is fully refundable. Only the supplements for staying in a single room are not included.
The reimbursement for the material is limited. The patient must pay part of the costs himself.

The hospital settles with CM
The hospital charges the use of the robot directly with CM.
What are the conditions?
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of:
- 40 or more;
- 35 or more and you have diabetes, treatment-resistant high blood pressure or sleep apnea syndrome;
- 35 or more and a new intervention is necessary because a previous operation against obesity caused complications or gave insufficient results.
- You dieted for at least a year without success.
- The treatment is prescribed by a multidisciplinary team including a surgeon, a specialist in internal medicine and a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist.
- The treating physician sent a prior notification to CM's consulting physician.
