Palliative care: exemption from co-payment
Are you cared for at home as a palliative patient? Then you may be entitled to the palliative care allowance.
Palliative patients who are cared for at home and meet the conditions are entitled to the palliative care lump sum. This includes, among other things, the full reimbursement of the co-payment for home visits by the GP.
Palliative patients admitted to a ROB, RVT or PVT and palliative home care patients who are not eligible for this lump sum can also be exempt from co-payments for home visits by the GP. This exemption does not apply to patients admitted to a hospital.
What should you do?
To obtain this exemption, the GP must send a specific form to the CM's advising doctor.
