An accident is an unexpected, unwanted event. CM Insurance defines an accident as a traffic accident, sports accident, industrial accident, accident at school or in the youth movement, private accident (unexpected, unwanted event in the private sphere, e.g. a fall down the stairs).

Unless otherwise stated, CM-Hospitaalplan and CM Hospitaalplan Plus will reimburse the majority of your medical expenses that are directly related to your hospital without you having to take any action yourself. You will receive more information about this when you receive reimbursement of your hospital bill. For CM-Hospitaalplan, this concerns medical costs in the period from 1 month before to 3 months after your admission. If your declaration was successfully forwarded, you will see the text on the last screen: 'An email with an attachment has been sent to...' You will also receive a confirmation to the email address known to CM. Be sure to check your spam folder.

CM Insurance never pays the invoice directly to the hospital, you do that yourself. Make sure that payment to the hospital is made on time. The reimbursement for CM insurance will be transferred to your account.
