Burnout
A burnout is characterized by physical, psychological and social complaints that are accompanied by a reduced sense of self-esteem at work.
Cervical cancer
Every year, around 350 women in Flanders are diagnosed with cervical cancer. About a hundred women die from the disease every year. However, cervical cancer is a slow-growing cancer that is almost completely curable if detected early. Such an investigation is painless and quite simple. So it is in your best interest not to postpone it.
Children vomiting
When vomiting, the muscles that bring your food and drink to the esophagus, stomach and intestines work in opposite directions.
Colon cancer
Colon cancer is a common cancer. About five percent of all Flemish people are confronted with it. In Belgium, about 8,500 people per year are diagnosed with colon cancer, of which about 5,600 in Flanders. About 1,750 people die from it every year in Flanders.

Congenital disorders are conditions or diseases that you are born with. Some are hereditary, others are not.
Depression
If one cannot get passed feelings of severe sadness after a longer period of time, this is called depression. One in five, both young and old, is confronted with this disease.
Fatigue
Fatigue is a natural alarm signal that indicates that you need to take it easy. The body indicates that it needs recovery, physically or psychologically.

Head lice are very annoying insects, but not harmful to health. They occur all year round. The animals grab onto the hair with their six legs.
High cholesterol
If there is too much cholesterol in the bloodstream, it can lead to narrowing of the blood vessels. This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Long Covid
If you suffer from long-term symptoms linked to Covid-19 and those symptoms have no other explanation, you may have long-term Covid, also called long Covid.
Muscle strain
A muscle strain is a muscle injury in which the muscle fibers are stretched. There is no crack.
Stomach flu
The inside of the stomach and intestinal tract are lined with mucous membrane. In the case of stomach flu, also called a gastrointestinal infection, this mucous membrane is inflamed.
Strep throat
A throat infection (angina) mainly occurs in the autumn, winter and early spring. The condition can be very annoying but is often harmless. It usually heals on its own without antibiotics.
