The following institutions are not considered hospitals: medical-pedagogical institutions; retirement and care homes, rest homes for the elderly and hospitals and parts of hospitals that have special recognition as RVT; thermal treatment institutions; rehabilitation centers; sanatoriums and preventoria; psychiatric care homes; private practices not recognized as general hospitals.
