Below you will find the invoicing instructions for the electronic third party payer, for invoicing at federal level and for AVIQ (specific to certain institutions in Wallonia).
Electronic third-party payer billing instructions
On January 1, 2022, the eleven Flemish CM health insurance funds merged . They now form one CM health insurance fund with number 120. The French-speaking MC health insurance funds, together with the German-speaking CKK, have done the same and form one MC health insurance fund with the number 134.
Members still contact CM through the known channels. From now on, the yellow stickers will show 120 as the health insurance number for all CM members. 120 will also be shown as the health insurance fund of affiliation during an insurability consultation. On the French-speaking and German-speaking side this is 134.
Billing instructions at the federal level
R20 Z7 - ZKF of affiliation (Z7 = health insurance fund of which the beneficiary is a member)
From performance date 01-04-2022, the members of the various CM or MC health insurance funds belong to one of these legal entities (merged on 01-01-2022):
- 120 (members previously affiliated with a Dutch-speaking CM health insurance fund)
- 134 (members previously affiliated with a French-speaking MC or German-speaking CKK health insurance fund)
There is no impact on the membership number, only the health insurance fund of affiliation changes.
To CM members who were hospitalized on March 31, 2022, CM sent a change message 730000 containing the new number of the health insurance fund of affiliation that has been in effect since April 1, 2022.
These amended instructions for zone 7 were applied smoothly for 1 year (until March 31, 2023). Since then we have activated controls on this. We therefore recommend that you always carry out an insurability consultation before invoicing.
R20 Z18 - ZKF of destination (Z18)
REFAC: hospitals 710/720, home nurses, laboratories, medical homes, general practitioners/dentists/physician specialists (e-fac), psychiatric care homes, rehabilitation centers (outside a hospital), ROB/RVT/CDV (since 01-01-2022) and mixed groups whose number starts with 094: the UCP number is:
- 120 if the current UCP belongs to Flanders or Brussels (Dutch)
- 134 if the current UCP belongs to Wallonia or Brussels (French)
